Speedfactory Continues Working to Resolve Outage
DSL problem continues for customers seeking answers
(old news - 01:54PM Friday Apr 18 2008)
Earlier this week, a small Southern ISP called Speedfactory seemed to disappear on its customers after its site and services went down. The Speedfactory website is back up and running but DSL customers are still having problems getting service. Speedfactory says that the outage has been caused by an internal problem with AT&T and that they are in constant communication with AT&T to resolve the issue. A representative from Speedfactory had been providing regular updates to customers in our forums as a good faith sign that the business is doing all that it can to get the system back up and running. At the request of one of the forum users, the company has created a blog where updates will continue. The representative says an additional update will still be posted to the forum thread when a final resolution is achieved.
