The HOL sign up can be done in English and the return emails were in both Greek and English. The adslgr forum had the details of how to set up eVoice on asterisk. Most everything there is in Greek, but babelfish does a good translation job. The received calls are excellent quality so I wanted to try outgoing calls to Greece via eVoice. The e-Voice της HOL forum at adslgr has posts from other users who would like to fund outgoing calls, but they conclude it is only possible in person at a Greek bank. I would've liked to give them some money for outgoing calls in appreciation of the free incoming calls but I can't complain about anything else. update - My wife's sister called from Athens to let us know our Greek number was down. SIP registrations are failing and adslgr.com forum entries report all users have been shut down. I logged on to my hol.gr account and see it no longer lists eVoice. So I need to look for an alternative. It was good while it lasted. Since it was so hard to give them money, it had to be hard to make a profit. Followup comments:
