Why can't I select PPPoE (authentication) in XP's Connection Wizard? SBC DSL FAQ| If you are trying to set up Win XP for PPPoE, but the option you need - "Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password" is grayed out, check out a Microsoft support article that explains just what to do in this instance.
