I know that the work of The Breast Cancer Site has been cited here in the past. If you don't recall, they accumulate "clicks" on their site and sponsors contribute to pay for breast exams for those who can not afford them.

I stop 'n click each day on my way to or from DSLR.

In June, their primary sponsor (Bare Necessities) will sweeten the kitty with another $10,000 if they are able to generate 8M clicks.

Crunch, click, cancer. Guess I'm into the letter C this month.

Stop by if you are able. Click for a sister, mother, wife, daughter aunt, niece or the girl next door.

And, don't forget to eat your veggies. :D

I absolutely agree Old Grouch. I have this site on my bookmarks toolbar so I don't forget to click daily. I will continue to do my part and urge others to join in if you don't already click.

With one more day left in the month, they are reporting 97.5% of the goal to get the additional $10,000 for more mammograms.

While I wouldn't expect a sexually-biased attitude here, keep in mind that breast cancer certainly isn't biased...it will attack and kill a man just as thoroughly as it will one of our wimmin.

Clicking helps everyone just like crunchin'...and veggies.

It is after June 30 (even for old peeps) and they were able to garner all the clicks they needed for the extra exams.

However, anyone still clickin' is still doin' good.

Gives me chills to think that my clicks could help fund a mammogram that might find a tumor while it can be treated rather than it taking the life of someone who had to set financial priorities that would have skipped the test.

Excellent point.. "In 2007, visitor clicks funded 3,801 mammograms." That's pretty incredible.
