AT&T DSL service temporarily drops when I'm on my phone

I have AT&T DSL service, running a LinkSys wireless setup in my house. I have about 4 computers connected wirelessly in the house.

I also have three cordless phones in the house, each connected to different phone outlets, all with DSL filters.

For the past two months, every time the home phone rings (or an outgoing call is made), my DSL service drops. For the first few seconds of the call, I hear "handshaking" in the distance on the line. After about a minute of talking, I'm able to use the Internet again.

I've had AT&T test the line several times and they claim there's nothing wrong.

Thoughts?

try getting an outside dsl pots splitter, and running a homerun with the data to where your modem is located. That should take care of the problem

Did you get anywhere with this? I too have the exact same problem for about two weeks now. This is also not the first time I have had the problem with AT&T. Each time they test and cannot find anything, but mysteriously the problems go away. Thanks for the info.
