AT&T compatible modem/router

I'm switching to AT&T's DSL service. I have a spare Cisco 1701 ADSL modem/router that I would like to use rather than buying another modem. Does anyone know if this will work with AT&T's service or where I can find more info? AT&T tech's haven't a clue.

If it will do bridging, and you have a PPPoE client, it should work. I have AT&T set up that way with an old Alcatel 1000 ADSL modem and W2K server. It works fine. VPI=0, VCI-35 here in Dallas.
