Also, the envelop was sort of interesting. I don't think it was obviously from Comcast and then there was a single line in red along the bottom, "Important information concerning your entertainment and communications services."

Well.....

Depending on what Frontier ends up doing.. and the direction they want to take, and given the fact that their current cap is at 5gb (which im sure will be more for Fios customers but 250? I dont think so) I don't know that switching to Comcast would be a bad thing. I love my Fios internet and TV, but if Frontier is going to end up screwing us with a cap and/or price increase, I will have no problem leaving. Even a cap at 100gb wouldn't be enough to get me to stay. I am no Comcast fan, but they are looking better and better everytime I think about what Frontier could end up doing with Fios. I will hold out hope and will wait to see what happens, but I'm def. not holding my breath.

God speed Verizon Fios customers affected in this Frontier mess.

That 5GB Cap was called off, and was never really enforced (now with Time Warner messing with caps, Frontier knows that they should stay uncapped as Time Warner targeted Frontier's largest market Rochester NY). My Frontier DSL Line has been pulling off a couple hundred Gigabytes and I haven't been hearing a thing from Frontier.

I was worried about that 5GB cap as well, so I started chatting with someone from Frontier. She said that, they plan to keep things goings as Verizon has been. Plus, she also stated that there will be NO CAPS.

You can chat with them if you click on the link on their home page:

Well...

I just tried chatting with Frontier and they refused to give me any information saving that they have not been advised on the situation and that any decisions will be made as far as changes to service in the next 9-12 months. I'm worried about this sale, but I hope the person you talked to is correct. Either way I'm preparing myself for going back to ComCraptic, and that will be a very said day. I still can't believe Verizon gave up on FiOS in Washington in a little more that a year, at least in my area.
