Windjammer cable

I wonder what this means for windjammer cable? »www.lightreading.com/document.as···site=cdn

I must say since windjammer has gotten everything switched over to them our internet has been solid in this area. I'm on the 15 mb download package. I'v seen some complaints about them on the web earlier in the year but not so much now. Does anyone know if this deal they signed in the link means they will be around for a while? I'm hoping their service remains good in this area because i'm really impressed with their internet right now.

Re: Windjammer cable

As a guess, and this is only a guess, Windjammer inherited TWC ordering/help desk/dispatch software. Also a guess, it is not easy to use but has been developed in house at TWC, so they are not willing to give it up. Windjammer is happy to get out from under it, and use something well designed. Latter they will understand why the 'ugly' was worth it for TWC to use the in house software, and they will begin to customize what they just bought.

Re: Windjammer cable

All this does is handle complaints. The problem lies in their cheap routing system. They have to many people going through to small of a routing system, which I am assuming that they lease through bids.

Run a trace route and you will see hops that stick every night during peak hours that cuts your speeds in 8ths and you can't get a sustained signal due to the bottlenecks.
