Good Thai Food---East Bay?
Got any favorites? I'm always looking for a good one.
I like Saysetha in Oakland (near 51st & Telegraph); their fried sweet potato appetizer with peanut sauce is heaven.
Loved PhuPing in the East Pacific Mall, but they went outa bizness.
There's another in Point Richmond that I can't remember the name of offhand. I go there for lunch sometimes and get a great broccoli beef with Thai sauce.
Gotta stop, I'm droolin'. :p

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Cha-Am in Berkeley.
The one in Point Richmond is Sawadee Thai

I'll have to try Cha-Am in Berkeley (1543 Shattuck--looks like it's right in the heart of the Gourmet Ghetto :)). Plearn is another Thai restaurant also in Berkeley. Haven't been there in years, so I should revisit---I remember it being pretty good. It's at 1923 University, not far from Cha-Am.
The Point Richmond restaurant is Kao Sarn at 130 Washington Avenue. Sawadee Thai is in Richmond, on Sab Pablo Ave near the I80 overpass. It's only a couple of miles from my house so I'll give it a go on one of my walks.

If you like it spicy, My Thai in Fremont is excellent.

Here are the ones I've reviewed on Yelp:

I'd highly recommend Soi Four and Chai Thai. Sauby Sauby is very good but I haven't been there enough times to *really* get a feel for it.

They are open for lunch and dinner. I really like their BBQ Pork with the green sauce.
