There was an update to my DVR last week and since then I have been having alot of problems with my DVR recordings. It seemed to fix the problem with the box hanging during commands but now anytime I try and fast forward or rewind during a show it just skips to the end or beginning.

I am also having the issue with the fast forward jumping all the way to the end of the program on the DVR or going all the way back to the beginning. I read all of the messages in the link from above, but I'm not understanding how to resolve this issue. Can someone please explain it more clearly?

Same here. Ever since the update, the box I use, and the box upstairs, and my brother's box (he lives 10 minutes from here) have all been doing the "skip to the beginning or end" routine.

I was the first one to report the problem in the thread mentioned earlier. To my knowledge, there is no fix for this bug. It will likely be like the previous bug with the poor remote command response, an issue with the box programming that will go unfixed for a long time...
