Alexandria, La. - New Business Plans
New business plans are available in Central Louisiana.
4Mbps/512Kbps - 69.95
8Mbps/1Mbps - 139.95
10Mbps/2Mbps - 199.95
I have clients that are pulling 15Mbps+ on the 10Meg plan.
I'm glad they've finally updated their plans to put business users' plans in line with AT&T DSL in the area.

I can confirm the above plans are also available in the Tyler Texas area. Just modified our plan to the 10/2. Not yet seeing 10, but am pegging 1.8-2.0 on the upload reliably.

Re: Alexandria, La. - New Business Plans
I had the same problem with a few clients who went to 10/2. Each of them use the Sonicwall Pro 2040 which cannot handle the 10Mbps while any one of the security services are on. It has to do with the hit it takes while performing the deep packet inspection.
The 2040's replacement is the NSA 2400. It'll handle it without issue. There's also a upgrade SKU that'll get you the NSA 2400 w/ two years of UTM services for about $1K cheaper than the next two years maintenance on the Pro 2040. The upgrade was a no-brainer.
As a side note, I carry the Calyptix Access Enforcer line of UTM devices and have no issue with any of them. I'm pulling 16Mbps through my AE1000 with no hiccups at all.
Rumor is that there will be a 20Mbps business connection coming up soon. I've got my fingers crossed.
