I still don't see any difference here in Lafayette. Once the boost is done, I'm still chugging along at 10/768

The test actually gives better upload than I get normally. Highest I see is a little over 100kB/s when uploading via FTP (the server isn't the limiting factor).

My speed increased from 12mbps to 15mbps sustained. I now have 3 channel bonding and cap out at around 80mbps with powerboost. My upload has also increased.
I only got the speed increase by having a tech come out and bring my levels to "docsis 3.0 spec" according to him. The signal apparently has a tighter range.
I'm happy for 46.95 per month.

Re: [ALL] It's the 29th, do you have the new speed?
I'm on the Preferred plan with an old Linksys BEFCMU10 v2 modem.
Tempe, AZ
Download Speed: 7408 kbps (926 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 469 kbps (58.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 33 ms
7.41 Mbps up
0.47 Mbps down
I'm wondering if I should upgrade my modem, it is a rather old DOCSIS 1.1 modem. Or should I hold out for Cox to send me a new one (If I could be so lucky).

Something seems to have shaken loose from the bit-bucket....

Lovin' it. Here's hoping it's not a fluke, haha.
All this on a BEFCMU10 v3. Take that, POS CM100! :D

Do you know what the tighter range is for D3 spec?

The spec's are exactly the same, however for the channels to bond together successfully they must all be within 2db of each other.

What does a tech have to do to get the multiple channels within range?

Exactly the same things as he would do for any signal issue (Check for bad splitters, cables, connectors, and so forth).

Still haven't seen any increase here, not that it'd be possible to notice at peak times:
upload skewed by boost

Mines pretty much the same to lol. But you gotta factor in alot of powerboost with these results.
