ZyWALL 35 and DMZ (sorry, one more time)
Hi all
I've been googling this topic for a while, and found this forum. I've also used the search facility here, but couldn't find the answer to my question. Sorry if I've missed it.
I'm trying to have access from LAN to DMZ.
WAN IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.202
DMZ port IP is 10.0.0.1 (255.255.255.248)
LAN 192.168.1.1 (255.255.255.0)
No problem accessing the server running on the DMZ, from WAN. I have a Port Forwarding rule from WAN interface (incoming port 8080) to the Server IP address 10.0.0.2, and a firewall rule to permit TCP:8080. It works.
Now, how to have access from LAN to the same server on the DMZ?
Thanks for your time for reading this, and your patience if this has been asked 1000 times before.

Default Firewall LAN to DMZ Policy is allow. Whats the problem ? Did you change that ?

I haven't changed default LAN to DMZ rule. The thing is, to have access from my 192.168.1.X net to the 10.0.0.2 server on the DMZ, don't I need some sort of routing mechanism ? How do I do that ?

Nope. You don't. The ZW "routes" it for you: they are connected directly. Try a ping.

Is there a hang-myself smiley ? I will check it again, but I don't remember seeing such a thing explicitly stated in the documentation.
Thanks a lot Bwuutje.
