[CATV] Louisville HD stations?

Does anyone know if Louisville is still suppose to get more HD channels on 10/7? I know someone had mentioned a while back that something was suppose to happen in Louisville on 10/7. I was not sure if that was with HD channels or something else.

myinsight.com has new channel listings for Louisville. WGN America, Speed and Lifetime is all that will be added in HD. Hardly worth the bother as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to believe that this is just the first step in some sort of upgrade. It's hard to believe Insight would go to the trouble of hyping "change," then give it's largest market only three channels of nominal interest.

I would like to believe that myself, but it really as not proven right over time so far. Columbus has always been ahead of the curve, and always will be unless there is some competition in other areas that Insight serves. I need to count how many HD channels we actually receive, not counting the "On-Demand" HD channels. You cannot count those as HD channels. I want to compare that to other markets that are the size of Louisville. I have a strong feeling that other markets offer more HD.

If this is true it is nothing but sad. I would like to see just how much of the on demand stuff is used. I have a feeling the numbers would be low. If that is the case dump some of that freeing up some bandwith and add more HD that would bring us up to speed with other Insight markets and Directv.
