AT&T customers getting screwed for choosing "alternate" ISPs
So, I've been reading on the forum that DSLX's Fiber services are only in Verizon areas, thus they must be FiOS?
And I also read on this forum that AT&T hasn't offered U-Verse (ADSL2) service to DSLX or other "resellers".
So if I have this straight, they are screwing the resellers and their competition that choose to be on a better more "net neutral" network?
Jeeze, can AT&T do ANYTHING right for the customers?
Stuck at 6mbit until the cows come home I guess...

Nope, not even a priority.

Tell me about it. AT&T the assholes. They made me cancel my DSL line just to get their service. I lost all my static IPs I had which really pissed me off as I had them for 5 years. I can't have u-verse only as it sucks for gaming. I was able to get my DSL Extreme again by ordering a second phone line and getting DSL Extreme installed after u-verse was up and running (which they wouldn't install until I canceled my original DSL line).
They also made up crap about how there was interference and now DSL and u-verse couldn't be at the same premises (yet I am doing it right now!).

Why would at&t offer fiber to its resellers? From bottom line standpoint i don't see any reason for them to give reseller access to it unless government forces them to do so.
