I need my Cogeco...

Kingston, 1999... The @home network... That is when I became a Cogeco customer. I've been through the bad, the ugly and the great times.

August 2009 my Cogeco connection has NEVER been faster or more stable... then it happens... I get posted to Petawawa, and to my absolute horror I found out that Cogeco isn't here. I cried a little inside.

Ok, I call Teksavy. The B!#@$ on the phone is rude and unhelpful... and tells me I can't get someone out to hook me up for 10 days!!

I have no choice but to go with Bell... sigh.

Bell sucks.
Bell throttles your download not your upload on P2P networks... ok, no prob I got around that... now Bell is throttling my Ventrilo and severly disrupting my gaming!! And I can't get around it. I can't stand Bell...
Did I mention Bell sucks?

I found out about a month ago that Cogeco is coming to Petawawa!!!!... soon... someday... maybe :( going to go crazy and throw the bell router through my window, or worse go beat some innocent Bell employee with the damn thing :p kidding... I'm not to that point yet.

I'm on Mary street in Petawawa K8H 1S1... Someone PLEASE for the love of all that is internet, please tell me when it's coming to my street.

Really? Usually all I read is how good techsavy's customer support is. 10 days? Just run the line your self. :D

Getting kind of OT, but Virgin Mobile's much-vaunted customer service has gone down the pan since it was bought out 100% by Bell Mobility - the company it was set up to compete against 5 years ago. I made 3 phone calls and sent one e-mail to ask a simple question about transferring pics from PC to cell. I got two promises to get back to me in 48 hours. That was last Friday. :(

Teksavvy doesn't do hookups, they have to request it through Bell
Odd your on phone experience, their DSL reports survey might be the best there is
But it can happen anywhere
