I asked this a few months backs, was wondering if there is any updates to this request.

I'm looking into switching Internet Providers and move to a DSL Extreme Fiber. Since I'm using this for work I'm required to get a Business grade of service because of the fact we require static IP's for firewall security for my work. Is this something that DSL Extreme can provide to a Home Office type of location.

The bottom line question is can a residential area get business class service.

Hi giffordj -

We can attempt to place the order as a Business line with static IP addresses. We can't guarantee that Verizon will allow the order to go through but if you place the order with our orders team we can give it a shot. The only downside is that Verizon doesn't allow ISP changes on the fiber product. You would therefore need to place a disconnect order for your current service and a subsequent new order with DSL Extreme.
