[CATV] On-Time Guarantee
I recall at one point that Insight had an on-time guarantee that if they did not make it to your appointment within the time frame given to you. That your installation was free if a new customer or a credit given to your account if an existing customer. Does anyone know if this still exists?
I am still having problems with my Digital box and went into the office to swap it out. However I was told that a technician would need to come and find the problem(s). An appointment was scheduled for between 10 and 12 today, well 12:00 came and went without anyone showing up. I called Insight and was told that the technician would be in touch with me to arrange for a service call today. Well that never happened either. There was no phone calls at all from insight and no door tags left.
After being told twice that they would be out today to fix a problem that has being happening since July and no one showing up, I just wonder if I have any options to pursue.
Thanks!

Re: [CATV] On-Time Guarantee
Haha, that is one thing that I have never been able to get. Every service call I have ever had with Insight the tech has been late. Even with their massively open windows. "Well the tech will be there between Noon and 6" ok that's fine, but when the tech shows up at 8 there is a problem. Thank God I have not needed a tech in a long time. So much time wasted just to have them say... well your signal is good and scratch their head and stare at you... and say they have to call someone else and you have to do it all again some other time.

Yes it still exists, its only 20 bucks for OTG, if ur cry loud enough they will wave any install fees if ur an existing sub upgrading, be shure to check the workorder that the tech dident mark no for OTG, some try to be slick and do that.

Re: [CATV] On-Time Guarantee
It's been a while, but I've gotten the On-Time Guarantee credit twice... of course, they were both for upgrades. any time that I've had technical problems, I've never been promised an arrival time, only some non-descript term like soon or shortly... I guess that's one way to avoid not meeting an appointment time, don't give one...
