[TWC] C-Bus, OH and nearby areas, Lineup chages on 10/20 and 10/

Just another heads up to everyone before it happens.
Tomorrow (10/20) for Columbus and surrounding areas, and 10/22 for the rest of Central OH, the new Digital Channel Lineup goes into effect. Details Here:

Just a quick few points:
Everything below 100 is staying mostly the same.

All the HD channels will now be in the 1001s, and they finally match the SD Channels (SD ESPN is 301, HD ESPN is 1301).

Your DVR settings SHOULD stay the same, but its always a good idea to double check to make sure any DVR shows are setup right and recording the right channel.

This already went into effect, in the Milwaukee,WI [SE WI division a few days ago.. 10/13 ]

IMO, they should have just left it..
I'm not sure of the reasoning behind it, unless they are going to be adding more channels.

Thats why i said it was for Columbus and surrounding areas, I just happened catch an email about it and it reminded me. Figured a few others here would forget about it too.

I know they are adding a few Here (NasaTV finally!) But most of all, it makes the guide make sense. I was in NEO when they did this same realignment, and it was great to have all the channels i normally watch in one area.

I too like the idea of a themed based lineup.

I for one in the Buffalo market would like to see a theme based lineup. I think it is great that your area added the Military History Channel. I wish TWC Buffalo would do the same.

Meanwhile all the former Adelphia customers in WOH are still getting crapped on, our channel lineups have 1/4 of the HD and will not change, yet we pay the same rates as the TWC people with all the HD and StartOver and all that.

We changed over today and I checked all the scheduled program's record channels and they all carried over fine - a nice touch by TW.

The Samsung DVR and the program guide was slow and had errors, but a reboot fixed it.

I am just happy the HD programming is still pretty much listed in a series of channels.
