[IL] Bad Pings and Packet loss

Hey guys, I have mediacom max outside of milan on knoxville rd. And all day long i get random spikes of packet loss, 3-4% every few seconds. At night the packet loss stays about the same, jumping from 2-4%, but pings go crazy. Pings to chicago are normally 20ms, at night i'm seeing 100ms to chicago, everywhere else is unthinkable.

Doing tracerts i noticed my ping to my first hop (10.17.58.1) at night is 60-80ms.
Pretty sure my node is overloaded (wtg mediacom)
How can I go about getting this node split or something?
If theres any mediacom techs reading this, can you please look into it? Thank you!

Also, I have the max package, yet i've NEVER seen over 7mbit, EVER.

Heres my powerlevels just incase:

SB5101
------------
Frequency 117000000 Hz
Signal To Noise Ratio 38.7 dB
Power Level 2.8 dBmV
The Downstream Power Level reading is a snapshot taken at the time this page was requested. Please Reload/Refresh this Page for a new reading

Upstream Value
Channel ID 4
Frequency 25008000 Hz
Power 46.3 dBmV

Re: [IL] Bad Pings and Packet loss

I am experiencing horrible problems. Pingtest.net can't even complete the packet loss test. Internet connection hangs for minutes at a time. I connect via Mac and PC - have tried directly connecting to modem - nothing is working. My diagnostics are: Forward Path: 117.000 MHz
SNR: 37.3 dB
Rec Signal Strength: -1.7 dBmV
Bit Error 0.00%
Modulation 256 QAM

Return:
Freq 28.0 MHz
Power LEvel: 49.0 dBmV
Channel ID 1
Modulation 16 QAM

I've had problems for weeks now.
