I guess my connection got set up near the end of the month. Anyway I earlier paid my balance in full but I guess it later changed to a different amount and the balance on my account is $2.49. I signed up for credit card autopay but it said it would be active on my next billing cycle (so I take it not this one)?

Anyway I just want to make sure my account isn't going to be suspended or anything. I know the company I work for won't even accept payments for under $7 because of the CC fees so I didn't want to just make a $2.49 payment to be sure and cost DSL Extreme more CC fees.

Hi houkouonchi -

When you initially sign up for service the system will take a payment for the first full month of service and apply that to your account. If you account starts mid month as your did the initial payment amount will apply to the prorated first month and the rest to the next month of service. For example your activation date was on 9/29/2009. Your initial payment went towards service between 9/29/2009 and 10/1/2009 and then the rest towards 10/1/2009-11/1/2009. Because of the initial prorate the payment didn't cover the full payment for October. You can go ahead and include that $2.49 payment covering the end of October service in next months payment. Since you are on CC payments it will be automatically added to the next invoice.
