Can I port my Verizon Wireless Numbers in to Vonage?

I have two Verizon Wireless business cell numbers and I would like to port them into Vonage. Is this possible?

According to their website the numbers can be ported in but I wasn't sure if that is accurate when referring to cell numbers.

If it is possible, what is the normal timeframe for them to get it done? Can I buy equipment at Best Buy and activate it with the ported numbers?

If the tool on their website shows that they can be transferred, then you should be able to transfer them. Timeframe should be 10 business days although there are several instances (like some in this forum) where it took longer than that. YMMV.

The TAs can be bought from a retailer and have them activated on their website using the two numbers.

I was able to get my ATT wireless number to vonage but you have to make sure your number is in your name (from verizon) and if its not they will not port it.
