Re: Search firmware Ian-02ex utstarcom?+Repeat Dialing on busy
Using the CLI command "voip callfeature busyredial," what are your settings for Code, Enable, Repeat, and Stop? Also, what is your setting for "debug config active get voip_callfeature_enable" and "debug config flash get voip_callfeature_enable"?
Better yet, why don't you post the entire output of "debug config active show" and "debug config flash show," making sure to hide any private information such as passwords.

Re: Search firmware Ian-02ex utstarcom?+Repeat Dialing on busy
I don't have an easy way to test this -- my adapter calls out over Sip Sorcery/Google Voice, so I can't get a busy signal until after I get a ring signal. However, you have the stop time set to 10 minutes. You might try shortening it to 60 seconds. That's where mine is set.
Also you didn't report what the setting are for "debug config active/flash get voip_callfeature_enable."
Do other call feature codes work?

Re: Search firmware Ian-02ex utstarcom?+Repeat Dialing on busy
debug config active show
voip_callfeature_enable=0
(mode hook flash)
debug config flash show
voip_callfeature_enable=0
(mode hook flash)
Maybe i should setting to 1? keypad? but i may lose conference hook flash , call waiting, etc
currently, conference 3-way, call waiting working with hook flash /talk button. I read in manual , repeat dialing on busy is not available in this realease.. i installed version UTSTARCOM - V4.8.2.50b ? so its should be available? what you think? is it working your side?
Thank you

Voip_calfeature_enable=0 active
Voip_calfeature_enable=0 flash
(its hook/flash mode)
Yes , conference 3-way and call waiting working with hook/flash button..
I already read in manual , in this release repeat dialing is not available... but i updated my firmware to UTSTARCOM - V4.8.2.50b.. so i dont think. its a problem?
Can you test it on your side?
Thank you :)

Re: Search firmware Ian-02ex utstarcom?+Repeat Dialing on busy
Repeat dialing was not available at the time that manual was published, as you can see by looking at the graphic on p. 59. But it is definitely available in the 51b (not 50b) firmware that I referred you to, which is much later than the manual. Just look at the Call Features page on the browser interface. Whether it is working properly is another matter.
I don't have an easy way to test it without reconfiguring my whole system. I use that adapter in connection with Sip Sorcery/Google Voice, so whenever I dial out I get a normal ring back tone before Sip Sorcery connects the call to the "busy" line. In other words, I never get a pure busy signal with which to test this feature. Moreover, it's hard to find a number I can call that will return a busy signal -- everybody has voice mail these days.
However, it should work. Try experimenting by implementing it in different ways. For example, dial your number, and when you hear the busy signal, press FLASH #5, then hang up. Do you get a dial tone after pressing Flash? Try it without pressing Flash. Try it by pressing #5 before you dial the number. I really think the problem is not with the firmware but with either the settings or the way you are invoking the feature.

yes i get a dialt tone after pressing flash... Its not working by pressing #5 number...i got error... number is not valid..from my voip provider..
Any way to invoke busy redial on busy , without #5? or code...only with flash button?
Im in hook flash mode...that way,, my conference and call waiting function working properly.

I sent you a link by IM on Oct. 22 and you told me you installed it. Direct links to firmware are not allowed in this forum.
So you dial a number, hear the busy tone, press hook flash #5, then hang up? Did you try pressing just #5 (without the hook flash) then hang up? Did you set the stop time down to 60?
The only thing I can suggest is to set up a syslog and take a look at exactly what is happening in the adapter. Alternatively, you can set up a TFTP server and run the command "debug showlog tftp (server address)". The logs should show whether it is interpreting the #5 as a call feature code or sending it out as a dial string.
If I have some free time I may try to get this working on my adapter, but it won't be for a while.

Version 51b has a build date of Nov. 16,2005. What is the build date of 50b? In my experience, this firmware is numbered sequentially, with higher numbers being newer. Version 63b is the most recent one I have, but it has problems. What makes you think version 50b is newer than 51b?

Oh, I missed that, sorry. Still, log into the CLI as supervisor and enter the command "version." It will give you the build date.

Re: Search firmware Ian-02ex utstarcom?+Repeat Dialing on busy
You are right, your version is newer. However I also have V2.8.2.63b with a later build date of Oct. 19, 2006, so the numbering may not be the best clue. Yours was probably written for a provider other than Lingo, or perhaps for a different but compatible board id. The fact that you downloaded it from a Brazilian site suggests that it was for a different provider.
There is not much difference between 51b and 63b. I believe 63b has an inter-digit timer setting, which 51b lacks. It also has the bug I mentioned. In any case, both versions have a setting for redial on busy, which is what you were originally asking about. Sorry you can't get it working.

You will not hear the call waiting tone.....:)
**you can test it..
steps:
** before test,, just test without *70..if the call waiting working.
1- *70 + any number with your ATA VOIP
2- Use your cell phone or another line.. call your ATA VOIP number
3- Now, do you hear the call waiting tone with your ATA VOIP?
4- If you dont hear the call waiting tone..* 70 working:)
You understand?
can you do that test?
Thank you :)

Ok, I confirmed that these star/pound codes don't work, and I figured out why: they need to be supported by the provider's sip proxy or soft switch. Take a look at the note on p. 80 of this manual:

My caller number presentation (calling line identification presentation) does not work using firmware ver.50b. Can somebody confirm if this feature works at all and version used?

Do you mean that your caller id doesn't appear when you call out on a line connected to this adapter? Mine works fine, v2.8.2.51b. If you mean, however, that you can't block outbound CID by dialing *67, then no, mine doesn't work either. Depends on the VoIP provider.

I mean the phone number presentation showed on phone's display when somebody calls me. I know my ISP sends it to me because I can see it when using x-lite or SJPhone.

That adapter is not currently connected to a phone with a CID display, however I used it for many years and didn't have a problem seeing the CID.
