[NC] Lets see if we can fix this issue (MorriBB)
Well i as well as several other customers in franklin, nc area are having an issue with our internet service. One that is effecting my voip service to the point i had to double my cell minutes. I would like to point out that our local tech's are working hard at resolving as much as they can, and alot of times the blame gets put on the system when its in the backend, like email which is outsource as well as there voip, but one problem were having is with the new equipment. At nights speeds are horrid, say like 500kbps to 3 or 4mbps. Even the 20mb customers are complaining. I can run a constant ping to say yahoo and end up with about 5-15% packet loss. »/linequality/nil/2576807 As you can see the router (24.246.128.29/30) is the main cause. I know the headend is equipt with a good bit of bandwidth and at the request of MBB i will not disclose the exact setup, but were using less than half the max cap of this. I have got in contact with one of there network sups and im hoping he can get the job done.

I have notice this too. I am on the 20mb/2mb package and i can almost never get my full download. I call in and they have sent a tech out, but he said it was out of his control. I have called back in with no results. I pretty much get the same answer. I even had one guy said that he would get one of the NOC guys to call me but that never happend. So far my experience with morris has been very bad. Even mediacom as awful as they were could provide me with better service. Im no computer wiz but things shouldnt be like this. I like to play alot of online games and you just cant with this company. I have people on sat able to kill me because of the lag. I think i will be switching to verizon dsl. It maybe slow but hey this cable is awful and atleast 3mbps will always be 3mbps dsl where my cable like Rick89 said will drop to less than 1mbps at night with pings 100+ to atlanta servers not to mention the packet loss

This is by far the worst company i have dealt with. I can get through to there phone system today, no one ever seems to know whats going all, been told its a node issues but my residents still has service, then told it was a server? whats up? I maybe a customer but im not a complete idiot. Looks like there system still has a lot of ID-10-T errors! I guess it really isnt much different then it use to be. Same wizards that ran mediacom are running this show, just now it seems like its running out of someones basement! Goodbye Morris, here i come att! PS I registered a complaint and it looks like quite a few people have too, better get a hold of things fast morris before you lose your franchise, which i personally wouldnt mind at this point. Good luck rick89! you'll need it with this group

I understand your frustration with the call center. I too have run into this issue. As for the system problems, most of them are getting fixed as we speak. Being in the network field myself i do know issues take time, and some issues that are not your own take even more due to the fact most blame the other for problems. Just wondering what kinda of problem are you having? Speed, latency, loss of service... please explain and ill see if i can help. Also if you want you can post your signal lvl's »192.168.100.1 just to make sure there isnt a problem there
