One desktop - 2 users at same time

NOt sure how to word this question.

I'd like to place a lcd monitors, keyboard and mouse in my 2 kids room which connect to a central located server or CPU.

The CPU will have parental controls and only applications I install.

From there rooms they use Office programs, browse sites I've setup as approved.

Anyone seen any material on setting up this type of system?

What do I need?
or how do I setup a simple workstation type config.

The easiest method I know of is from N-Computing.

They basically create a terminal server on the system in question that you can then get 'terminals' for. You can either get the X series, which has a PCI card you install in the system, then can use a limited range to connect to the terminals via Cat5 (NOT network, just Cat5)

Or, you can get the L Series, which uses standard ethernet to connect to the 'main' system.

I've used both, and they work pretty well.
