WOW cable and router problem

I have WOW cable but I cannot get my router to work with their Webstar DPX 100. The modem works directly connected to pc, but when I connect to router, I can get to router menu but the DHCP settings do not seem to populate, and I know my router works. I have a Linksys WRT54G V8 with latest firmware.

I also pulled my logs for modem here they are. Can someone help me get my modem to work with the router.

Re: WOW cable and router problem

Well, I can assure you that there are thousands of WOW customers using routers successfully, including the model you have. What's wrong??? Could be a lot of different things.

You don't have to do anything to the modem to use it with a router. You router logs/config would be more useful to help diagnose. I'd start with the basics....

Do you have the modem connected to the WAN port on the router? Are you using a straight-through or crossover cable? Are you getting a link light on the router's WAN port?

Do you have the WAN port on the router configured as a DHCP client? Not static?

Are you using a different network addressing scheme for the LAN (DHCP server) vs what WOW's DHCP server is specifying?
