Yow! I wonder who is designing the cases for those things now.

Boxy looking thing. Must be a former Saab designer.

OOL gives you a modem free. The 6120 is a Docsis 3.0 so it probably would work very well if you feel the extra bucks are worth spending. I doubt there are many, if any, users who have it since OOL was using Cisco modems for Ultra and most of us simply use the free modem.

Just use the free modem they provide. No reason to buy your own. (Actually, there's more reason to use their modem because it will get Firmware updates when necessary)

If you feel your modem is old go to the Cablevision walk in center right next to your house and trade it for another one.

I can't understand why someone would pay for something that you get for free, especially when there is no benefit to owning it.

Unfortunately, I own my modem because you were required to purchase it back in the early OOL days. OTOH, Cablevision does stand behind them and replaced the SB4100 I had purchased with a brand new SB 5100. I just have to keep all the paperwork proving the chain of ownership.
