[Connectivity] Random brief disconnects
I wonder if anybody else has experienced the following: I get briefly disconnected from the internet (fraction of a second) several times each day apparently randomly each day. It is enough to interrupt downloads and uploads. Is Comcast doing this to break up download usage?

I'm in Arvada Colorado and it happens to me almost everyday and Comcast tells me its not their problem. Also got my latest Comcast bill and a notice in it saying my speed has doubled so I went speedtest.net and sure enough it's a blazing 7.5 Mb/s so I'm not sure what it has doubled from.

What kind of cable modem do you have? Some of the older ones have problems getting the faster speeds Comcast offers.

I saw your other thread and I take it you have a SB5101. If you've tried powercycling and you still haven't received the new speeds you can try posting your issue in the Comcast direct forum which is monitored by Comcast employees who maybe able to help:
