I just bought an Xbox 360 and would like to run ethernet to the system. All of the Ethernet ports are taken on the RG, is there a way to split one of these to get an extra internet line out?

you can add ports by using a switch like the netgear 105, 108, 605, 608 models.

the 100 series is a metal case the 600 series is plastic outside. both are the same guts for the most part though. 5's are 5 port, 8's are 8 port.

Forgot the FS series uses the same number scheme. FS is a 10/100 switch where the GS is a 10/100/1000 and has priority tagging built in. The GS series works better for U-verse since it can read and direct priority packets
