Hi everyone, I was hoping that someone can answer this for me. I currently have a t1 which is connected into my zyxel35 in wan port 1, I just had comcast come out and they installed there business class internet and gave me the smc gateway. I am having major problems getting this to work with my zyxel, and comcast is no help at all. My wan ip address would be the first of my 5 static ips, right???
and my gateway ip address is the default gateway comcast gave me , correct??/ I am sorry I just would really like to get this to work. Is there anything special I need to do.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Comcast should of gave you a list of your ip addys , gateway addy , and dns addys. you would have to hard code them in to your device

Hi they did give me a list , now when you say hardcode them in my device are you talking the sms or the zyxel. The smc says the 10.1.10.1 address in it?

You have to put the SMC8014 in pseudo-bridge mode (see the Comcast HSI forum for examples), and make sure the WAN port on the ZyWALL is set for Full NAT (not SUA).
