(Connectivity) random disconnects becoming more frequent
1. Location - Huntsville, AL
2. Description of the problem - random disconnects. Can't ping, can't access the web, started several weeks ago and is getting more frequent.
3. intermittent issue although mostly in the evening as that is when I am home.
4. Modem: Motorola SB5101-2.7.6.0-GA-00-NOSH

Either the ethernet port on your modem or router seems to have an issue. It is resetting the connection frequently. Have you tried connecting a PC directly?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried connecting directly and while the issue didn't seem to be as bad it was still happening.
Spoke with a Comcast tech last night and she seemed to think it might be the modem. I'll let them replace that first and see if it clears up the issue and then figure out what the next step is if it doesn't.
