I'm not sure if it's automatic, or if you manually have to fill in parts, however if you look at what you altered it wasn't very clean at all, I can understand the missing lines, it added more black to areas that were not black before.

Its a nice program. Depending on the part you want to erase and the background it can be anywhere from 80% to 100% efficient.
Sometimes you have to break the selection down into separate parts and run the program more than once.
Took about 20 seconds for this, One pass.

I just downloaded this and it is pretty cool. Didn't do such a great job on a couple of my pics, but did an outstanding job on others.
Only thing I think it could add is a freeform selector tool. Right now only choices are polygon or square.

The polygon tool is the freeform tool...Dont know why they called it that.

The lasso tool (freeform) is not in version 2. It was in version 1, though. Proggie is useless to me without the lasso tool, so I uninstalled it.

No it's not. Version 1 had the freeform tool. It was called "lasso". Gone in version 2. :(

Sure it looks natural, if a flat circle of water surrounded by waves/ripples is how a person believes the lake to be.
I gotta be honest. Free is free, but this program stinks in this aspect of use.

This is a five click version done with PSP and I stink at editing.
I tried INPaint2 but still couldn't get satisfactory results.

And I can't save anything. Save and Save As... are greyed out.
I had to screenshot, paste then cut/paste into another image editing app to save the modified image.

After hitting run and it finishes the changes, you can't save? I had no problems. Did you register it so it shows like this in help about?

I hadn't registered it - but with a little help from a friend I was able to and now I can save.
It just goes to show that you should read before you leap. :)
