Wrong Config File?

I have the wrong configuration file on my modem.

I should have the Extreme tier on my account however I dont.

I have
d11_m_u10c035_widebandblast_c01.cm

I have the Ambit modem. Comcast tech support at night havent been able to get it to accept the Extreme tier for some reason nor have chat support. It keeps sending though the blast tier, which was my previous. 15down.

I am not an employee so I can't speak authoritatively, but from what I have read, that may be the correct config file for the 50/10 Extreme tier. It does say "Wideband" within its naming convention and I do know that the 16/2 Blast config file looks like this:

d11_m_ [******] _speedtierextreme2_c01.cm

* denotes modem make/model number.

Will a Comcast employee please correct or concur.

Eg is correct.

widebandblast_c01.cm is for the 50M servcice

Okay, im on the phone with them now and they at first they said does not have the correct speed tier. now they are saying it is correct. I have called in to tech support 11 times now. THEY keep telling me its incorrect though.. =(

Their lead tech support agent said they do have a different config file to give me but the modem will not accept it for some reason.

Don't bother with calling in to the tech support, I would just post a topic in the direct forum here they can check it for you and more than likely get you an answer quicker and with less hassle than calling in. :) Yes that is the correct config file for the 50/10 plan

I am getting around 64mbps. The techs still tell me there is a problem so im letting them do as they wish... How are other members up in the 150mbps range? Either way they are wanting to roll another truck here.. it seems fast but they keep saying its wrong.

Those are just speed testing sites/Powerboost anomalies.

I see, crazy either way. I think its running really well... it did just get the walledgarden config and it was updated with the widebandblast. I continue to use the system like normal. I am interested in knowing what problem they think they see.

Could have been a noise (SNR) or signal problem causing the modem not to "see" the upgrade file or understand the signal.
Sounds like somebody figured it out.
