Anyone know of a MGCP provider?

Hello,

So I'm hunting around for a MGCP provider. Anyone know of a good one??? You would think a web search would come up with a good one but I'm having a tough time finding one. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Eieh, I allready took a look at that list....either bad links, or web pages :-). Any other ideas???

I am a novice when it comes to voip and its related protocols, technology and whatnot. Maybe one of the professionals that frequent the board will chime in.

Thanks OmagicQ for you help!! I was getting bored with SIP..ive discovered MGCP at a conference the other day...Ive heard of it but never really used it.

I have used it... It's nothing great compared to SIP, works similarly overall. AT&T CV used the technology while it was in beta (I didn't stay on after beta). The call quality was great but not noticeably better than my VoicePulse service.

Yea from what i saw the features compared to sip weren't great, but it seemed easier to configure...especially on the ata/mta side.

Also does anyone have the firmware for MGCP on an ac211?? I know it can be an mta if you get the right firmware. I just cant find it
