Anyone else getting 1 -3 Mbs speeds during peaks times (7PM) in Oakville Upper Middle/8th Line? During the day I get 15-16 Mbs, peak times I drop to 1 to 3 Mbps. Upload speed is fine. It has to be congestion - I will phone Cogeco. The thing is - if they need to put in a split - how long does that usually take? That is if they know of the issue - how long before they start digging or whatever it takes to put a split in. My speeds have been solid for 3 years and now they started dropping 3 weeks ago. Any techs from Cogeco that would know how long it takes for a split to be put in? btw, I'm on the Pro package

EDIT: Called in - hey said it was congestion. No timeframe given for resolution - kinda sucks.

Welcome to one of the many reasons we cancelled our internet service with them a year ago. Same area, same problem.
