[DVR] Remote troubles
On Monday, 10/26 my wife called Mediacom to get a new remote sent since ours wasn't working properly. The person that she had spoke with said that it would be sent in a few days. No sight of it all week so she decided to call again Sunday evening (11/1) to see if there was any trouble. The person she spoke with was nice and explained it would normally take 4 to 6 days.
Well 4-6 days has passed and once again we call tonight. She ended up talking to someone who just could not understand the situation and was not very helpful at all! Seriously, these people who speak such broken English should not be part of a call center!
It's now well over a week and still stuck with a remote that doesn't work properly. There is no office close by to swap out or I would have done that long ago.
How do I get a working remote?

Re: [DVR] Remote troubles
Sorry for the delay. Been a really rough past few weeks.
..and yes I have a DVR. It's a POS Pace...
Still no remote and keep getting different answers from CSRs. Luckily I got the old one working just enough until the new one arrives. There was so much gunk on the contacts. Thing was extremely dirty. However contacts are so worn they'll eventually fail.
MediacomJoel, be sending a PM soon.
Thanks!
