Online auction site eBay has settled a lawsuit with the founders of Skype, ending uncertainty over the future of the internet phone company.

So where does that leave Gizmo5 and their "sip technology" If Skype no longer needs an alternative infrastructure for their network?

Maybe they will do a reality television show and invite reps from other VSPs and call it "Voip Survivor". When one gets eliminated their sip credentials get revoked :p

The Gizmo deal probably got the other side to see that Skype (ebay) had an escape plan.

They could just toss Gizmo to the wind. It did what it was supposed to do.

Hope they don't destroy it.
