[Connectivity] Random Disconnects
Over the past 36 hours seeing some connectivity issues. Looking in the modems event log I see repeated:
Fri Nov 06 04:58:30 2009 Critical (3) Init RANGING Critical Ranging Request Retries exhausted
Fri Nov 06 04:58:30 2009 Critical (3) No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
Fri Nov 06 04:55:46 2009 Critical (3) Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Un...
That correspond to the connectivity issues which resolve themselves after several minutes.
Attaching signal quality info (screenshot since modem puts each field into an iframe for whatever reason.

Upstream Power is too high.

Roll a tech to check it.

I've also seen drops at 51, and 52. So I'm not really sure if the upstream power is at fault.
That's reading is actually a little bit of an outlier. The running average is about 57 from what I'm seeing.
(i have rrd graphs after the last time a tech was out)

Even 57 dB is too high. That is if the modem is actually giving accurate readings..

61 is the max the modem can output. You have a definite signal problem. Anything over 53 ish is going to cause you a bunch of issues. Personally, I don't like to see anything 50+. An average of 57 is a huge problem. You need a tech to come out and balance your home out.
