Not having money is no excuse when there are 4 FREE antivirus programs available.

Avast, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has both free and paid versions. The difference with the paid version is that it also includes real time protection.

Both versions are quite effective at removing fake AV software, so running it should be able to remove whatever is found.

I would still do the steps listed here »Security Cleanup FAQ »Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance as a first step in dealing with a possible infection.

Fake Anti-virus programs are not actually scanning your computer. They are just web pages that give that phoney impression. Install any one of the free ones mentioned above. Avast! gives considerable feedback on what it is doing but it does not require user intervention. Microsoft Security Essentials is another very good choice, take your pick.
