[VA] Internet Issue

I have been having problem with my internet connection from past couple of days. I can't surface the internet...connections seems to be lost each time whenever i try to go a website. I have to refresh multiple times.

I have called cox and according to them everything is fine on their end. I have reset the modem multiple times and all the lights are there.I used a ping tracer to find out what was going on and i kept loosing packets at this ip address 10.2.72.1 and this ip appears right after my router's ip. I am not sure if this is cox's throttling system or not.

I was given new DNS server ip address when i used them in the morning. Everything was working but now after few hours same problem appears. Since then i have changed the DNS server's IP to OPEN DNS. I am not sure what's really happening. :-(

That ip is your CMTS. packetloss there isn't a good thing. while cox's DNS needs attention, that isn't a DNS issue.
