Re: Welcome to the Atlantic Broadband forum!
YAY! Finally someone has a forum for Atlantic Broadband, whee!
Now, there are two Atlantic Broadbands... are we speaking of the one at www.atlanticbb.net or atlanticbroadband.com?
Hopefully the former.

Is there a way to mark this forum as a favorite ??

Re: Welcome to the Atlantic Broadband forum!
To my knowledge, you can't make it a "site favorite", if that's what you mean. But you can make it a browser favorite, put a shortcut to it on your desktop, or make it a browser home page.

HELP ME!!!
Okay, so I live in Middletown, DE which has been plauged with little (or no) broadband solutions forever. Charter communcations got kicked out and Atlantic BB took over. I signed up for service and everything was installed and working. Then I started a new job working from home and now everything (my computers, routers, IP phone) are completely RELIANT on solid, stable connectivity. I continually get knocked off of my cable connection for 5 - 10 minutes at a time, multiple times a day. I check the Motorola 5120 surfboard logs and they register T3 timeouts at the exact same time my continous ping test starts dropping packets. I have replaced EVERYTHING including modem, power supply, connected cable, router, directly connected a PC for a while, etc...
I've placed at least 10 calls to support, tried to escalate to the field service manager in my area (no avail) had 3 service techs come out and still NO FIX!!!!
WTF am I supposed to do. One time the tech came out and actually replaced the modem and saw this drop happen with his own eyes. He said it was definitely an upstream issue, but could not find the problem.
Everytime I call support they say my levels are fine (they are OK, not great) but they will often see "flapping" of the line from there tests to my cable modem.
Who do I need to talk to for help?
Can anyone at Atlantic BB read cable modem logs?
I've even contacted Motorola and they said it's definitely ISP related. Where do I go from here... FIOS is installed in my front yard but per Verizon is still MONTHS away... Middletown, DE SUCKS for Broadband.
Oh yeah, my cable modem reboots itself as well (via the logs)
