How do I find
How do I find a path with all the computers and their ip address that are connected to my computer. I do not have a home network, yet I have had programs ask me which of the five computers do I want to download a program to. Thanks so much for your help.

I'm confused. How can you connect to five computers if you don't have a network?

Re: How do I find
I don't know how they hacked into my system. I just know that is the message I got when I downloaded something to my computer. It wanted to know how many of the five computers.

Re: How do I find
Please post the EXACT message that you see - preferably a screen shot and explain what you were doing at the time - i.e. downloading what from where using what application - then we will have enough info to help.

The first possibility is that the OP's understanding of a network is different than yours (or mine). The following conjectures depend on that assessment.
The next possibility that comes to my mind is an unsecured WiFi connection. This could be either the OP's or a neighbor's connection. I have taken on-site service calls because the customer was accidentally using a neighbor's WiFi connection and was convinced that someone was hacking into their connection because they saw multiple connections on the router's DHCP status page.
Another possibility would be a powerline switch connection such as the one that was causing mysterious connections to/from a neighbor's network in this recent thread: »What's going on with my setup?
