Maybe you missed the part where Comcast didn't make that privacy claim. It was the author of the news item.

So buy your bridge in Brooklyn from PC World magazine.

The point was the humor, poking fun at the idea that somehow that the new traffic management strategies mean greater privacy. That's what the Brooklyn Bridge references were...
